Toyota is the Best Workplace for LGBTs for 10 Consecutive Years

Toyota confirms one more time its commitment to this cause with a perfect score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign’s 2017 Corporate Equality Index (CEI). This national benchmark analysis shows corporate policies that reflect LGBT’s workplace equality.

For the past 10 years, Toyota confirms their commitment in supporting civil rights for their LGBT employees in a fair environment.

Latondra Newton, Chief Diversity Officer of Toyota Motors, North America, is passionate about supporting a working environment that is based on equality.

Toyota is proud to stand with its LGBT employees and be recognized as a best place to work.”

The Human Rights Campaign evaluated over 1000 businesses assessing  LGBT-related policies and practices that include workplace protections, protection from discrimination,  benefits for domestic partners, ability programs, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, public engagement with LGBT community. Toyota is one of 400 companies, from over a thousand ranked, which earned a perfect score of 100. Toyota is devoted to providing an environment that is welcoming for all people.
