December 20th, 2017 by

Toyota, top worldwide partner, has launched its new initiative- “Start Your Impossible” campaign. This campaign shows Toyota’s commitment to provide freedom of mobility for all.

With this global corporate initiative Toyota’s goal is to inspire its employees, customers and partners, connecting them with its core beliefs. “Start Your impossible” describes Toyota’s commitment to support the formation of a more inclusive society in which everyone can challenge their own impossible.

Celebrating the initiative and the partnership with the Olympic and Paralympic Games, Toyota held its first ever Toyota Mobility Summit in Greece. The event took place on 16th of October in Athens, host city of the first modern Olympic Games.

This event featured a live conversation with Akio Toyoda, followed by a series of discussions which were led by Toyota Executive Vice President Didier ‎Leroy. The event covered topics connected to mobility from a social, physical well-being and, above all, a sport perspective.

“We want to share this thinking with all stakeholders, including consumers, so that we can approach this challenge together,” said Toyota President, Akio Toyoda.

Toyota was driven by the need to contribute to society. Having a rich historical background, the company developed into an innovative leader which launched mass vehicle electrification. First, it was the Prius hybrid electric car 20 years ago and later came the Mirai Hydrogen fuel cell electric car.

As the worldwide partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, Toyota’s goal is to encourage the creation of a peaceful surrounding for society with no discrimination through sports and mobility. By improving constantly, Toyota shares its values through the Olympic Games, bringing the whole world together in friendship and solidarity.

Toyoda added: “Throughout our history, Toyota has made the impossible possible through innovation and passion, and by continuously challenging the definition of impossible. Today, the automobile industry is clearly amidst its most dramatic period of change — and during this time Toyota remains committed to making ever better cars. Just as important, we are developing mobility solutions to help everyone enjoy their lives, and we are doing our part to create an ever better society for the next 100 years and beyond. For this to happen, we have to dream beyond conventional vehicles and create new forms of mobility that overcome the limits of today and solve the problems of tomorrow. We share this dream and this spirit of continuous improvement with Olympic and Paralympic athletes, who challenge their own limits every day. I hope that The Olympic and Paralympic Games will create an opportunity for everyone affiliated with Toyota to challenge their impossible and defy their limitations.”

As the first sponsor of The Olympics Games and The Paralympic Games, Toyota aims to provide logistic expertise and mobility services. The first film “Start Your Impossible” – “Mobility for All”, announces some transportation solutions, advanced technologies, and mobility for the next generation. “Start Your Impossible” will also include many additional programs such as ones focused on dealers, employees and consumers as well as pursuing collaboration with Toyota’s Mobility Foundation.

Toyota is also launching a new website- www.MobilityForAll.com. This website is in consultation with the National Center for Accessible Media (NCAM) in the United States. The website will be rolled in phases. By creating this site, Toyota aims to give access to users with various impairments and to give all users an opportunity to experience the complete content of the site.
