Toyota Engineering New 4D Theatre

With recent donation of $ 1.44 million dollar from (TMNA) Toyota Motor North America has transformed and also upgraded the (TET) Toyota Engineering Theatre. This is a unique 4D multi-media experience, and will extend (MiSci) Michigan Science Center capability for distance learning. All this was revealed on May 22nd.
This theatre is designed to encourage and inspire the next generation of science, engineering, technology and math (STEM) learning.

Exposing children to engaging STEM experiences like those in the TET are critical in fostering innovative thinking.”

There is interactive wall on the exterior of the theatre.Finding yourself inside the TET you will get four dimensional experience, including HD projection system that includes 3D viewing capabilities.This TET is the only theatre in Michigan that absorb flash effects with no smoke, heat or pyrotechnics.This leading and advanced technology enables MiSci to live stream video film to. You can virtually from anywhere in the world help the facility’s distance learning programs.

“We’re focused on empowering and enriching all children and all communities with STEM,” said Dr. Tonya Matthews, Michigan Science Center president and CEO. “Our partnership with Toyota, and the TET, with its new technology, will help reach communities across Michigan and build a legacy and inspiration of STEM education for students, schools, and families.”

Toyota has made Michigan its center for North American automotive research and development. “Because of places like the Michigan Science Center, there will be a good number of students who are inspired to go into science, inspired to think to the future and do great things,” said Detroit native, Chris Reynolds, executive vice president of Corporate Resources, chief diversity officer & managing officer at Toyota Motor Corporation.
The grand opening for the public was on May 27 th. For the entire weekend MiSci is offering free general admission and TET tickets for the world debut of the National Geographic film “Extreme Weather 4D,” exclusively produced for MiSci. MiSci appearance the world’s only 4D edition of the film in custom 20 minute version.
