Toyota celebrates Hispanic society at 2016 National Council of La Raza Conference

For 12 consecutive years Toyota has been the No.1 auto company among U.S. Hispanics. At the 2016 Conference, which took place on July 23-26, 2016 in Orlando, FL, Toyota was again a co-title sponsor.
This celebration was followed by a gift from Toyota, a brand new 2016 Corolla at the annual Latinas Brunch.

This conference also marked Toyota’s sixth year as a title sponsor. NCLR is not just the largest organization, but also one of the largest gatherings that includes the nation’s most influential individuals, institutions, companies, organizations working with the Hispanic community. NCLR connects millions of Hispanics in 41 states each year. NCLR Annual Conference provides forum for people who are in the business of social adjustment. National family Expo is one of the biggest events in the country focusing on activities and resources concerning Latino families. Toyota has been supporting NCLR since 1999 with grants of nearly $3 million.

A brand new 2016 Corolla was given to Diane Arms-Signore of Houston, Texas.
Arms-Signore works as a Director of Prevention and Counseling at the Association for the Advancement of Mexican Americans (AAMA). This organization is committed to encourage and empower Latinos in danger to fulfill their potential. The plan is to use the new Corolla to support the organization’s Action program by helping individuals with HIV to have access to good and quality healthcare.

By now, Toyota has donated $800 million to many nonprofit organizations, to minorities, including the Hispanic. For the last 25 years Toyota has run one of the leading minority programs.
