2017 Toyota Highlander Ready to Debut at New York Auto Show

The New York Auto Show is almost here and everyone is providing viewing of the models that will appear at the Javits Center this month.

One of the models will be all new improved 2017 Toyota Highlander. The popular mid-size SUV from the Japanese automaker, model for the 2017 includes everything from refreshed exterior to an 8-speed automatic transmission. This first appearance of this SUV will be March 23rd in New York.

The Highlander will get new exterior colors. It will be offered in: Celestial Silver Metallic, Toasted Walnut Pearl, and exclusively on the new SE, Salsa Red Pearl.

This version of Highlander will appear in new sportier SE gas model shape, with a 3.5-liter direct injection and V6 engine, supporting more horsepower and raised MPG.

2017 model year Toyota Sienna van will also feature New Direct Shift 8 speed automatic transmission with 3.5-liter V6 Direct injection Engine.

Toyota pays attention on saving fuel with a stop and start engine system that will come in all Highlander V6 models. This means when you are driving the Highlander, the S&S allows to the engine to shut off when vehicle completely stop and restarts when driver lifts foot from the brake pedal.

Toyota’s key target is always on technology of their models, and the same is with the Highlander. This SUV has package featuring the pedestrian pre-collision braking, automatic high beams, lane departure alert and more. Bird’s Eye View camera with Perimetar Scan which allows the driver panoramic view of the vehicle surroundings for easier and safe parking. As one of the standard equipment is also blind spot monitor.

The Highlander 2017 exterior is also new, with a new upper and lower front grille design, as well as glossy rear taillights. There are eight passenger seats, the best of all is that has five USB ports, really useful for all gadgets, including kids entertainment

Toyota in Princeton, Indiana, employs more than 5,000 American workers, assembles all Highlanders and exports them to 12 countires. It is expected that 2017 Highlander and Highlander Hybrid make its way to showrooms in the fall of 2016.
